Registered in 2019 and debuted in 2021, Queen Rouge® is the new type of grapes from Nagano; born from Shine Muscat and Unicorn, this is the "ELITE" of all grapes in Japan.

"Queen" means " elegant sweetness like a Queen " and " Rouge " means " red like lipstick ". It is currently grown within Nagano Prefecture only.

Queen Rouge® is characterised by the fact that it is a Red Grape with a hint of Muscat aroma with high sugar content. The flesh resembles Shine Muscat and the sugar content is high at around 20-21 Brix, which is equivalent to or higher than Shine Muscat and Nagano Purple, they are known as the "Three Grapes Sisters". Also, like the 2 Sisters, it is seedless and has a thinner skin than Shine Muscat. Japan's Queen Rouge® brings sweeter, luxury twist to Grapes.
