In Saga Prefecture, the cultivation of House Mandarin Oranges began in Karatsu City around 1973, and now it is the largest House Mandarin Orange production site in Japan, which ship 5000 tons per year. 

Karatsu House Mandarins are in season from June to July, making them a perfectly refreshing Japanese Mikan Fruit for the summer!
